Job summary

American Property Management seeks an on-site maintenance technician for Laguna Creek, a 160-unit garden-style community in Elk Grove. The role requires turning units, performing repairs, and maintaining common areas to uphold curb appeal.

You will handle inventory, safety, and customer service while working with tools provided by the company. A valid license, English fluency, and teamwork are essential; HVAC/CPO certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

2+ years of multifamily or hotel maintenance experience (last 10 years).
Must be able to complete unit turns from start to finish.
Experience in tracking and maintaining inventory.
Own basic hand tools; company will provide power tools.
Driver's license required.
Fluent in English with strong communication and teamwork.
HVAC certification preferred; CPO certification preferred.
High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

Assist in getting units rent-ready from turn to finish.
Follow safety requirements at all times and handle chemicals and equipment safely.
Maintain grounds, storage areas, and dumpster areas to preserve curb appeal.
Paint and clean as needed to ensure timely turnover.
Ensure lawns are mowed and driveways are clean and debris-free.
Ensure equipment is serviced regularly for safe operation.
Be available for on-call emergencies or snow removal.
Follow Operations Manual policies; uphold company standards.
