Job summary

American Property Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for Laguna Creek, Elk Grove, CA. This on-site role supports unit turnover, safety, and ongoing maintenance across a 160-unit community. You will perform painting, cleaning, grounds upkeep, and basic repairs while coordinating with residents and teams.

Requirements include 2+ years in multifamily/hotel maintenance, a valid driver’s license, and strong English communication. HVAC/CPO certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in multifamily or hotel maintenance within last 10 years.
• Must be able to complete unit turns from start to finish.
• Experience tracking and maintaining inventory; own basic hand tools.
• Valid driver’s license; HVAC or CPO certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in getting units rent-ready and ensure safety procedures are followed.
• Maintain grounds, cleaning, painting, and turnover tasks as needed.
• Keep storage areas clean and inventory organized; report needs.
• On-call for emergencies or snow removal; operate equipment safely.
