Job summary

Atlantic-Housing is seeking a Service Technician for Waters at Fairfield Apartments in Columbia, SC. The role involves hands-on maintenance, make-ready tasks, and on-call duties to keep the community safe and well-maintained.

You will perform plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC-related repairs as part of a collaborative team. Candidates should have a high school diploma, EPA 608 certification, and at least 2 years of multi-family or commercial maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• EPA Sec 608 Certification (Type I/II or Universal) required.
• Familiar with plumbing, tile, HVAC, appliances, carpentry and electrical repairs.
• Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to read/write/speak English; able to climb ladders and lift 50+ lbs.
• On-call availability required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee property condition and perform routine and preventative maintenance.
• Respond to on-call emergencies after hours.
• Assist with make-ready process and general repairs.
• Maintain grounds and onsite amenities upkeep.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing and OSHA regulations.
