Job summary

Atlantic Housing Foundation, Inc. is seeking a Lead Service Technician in Columbia, SC to oversee maintenance, make-ready, and safety programs across the community.

You will supervise staff, schedule activities, and respond to emergencies while ensuring operations stay within budget and comply with regulations. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of supervisory experience in multifamily or commercial maintenance, EPA 608 certification, and the ability to read and communicate in English.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• 2+ years of supervisory experience (required).
• 3+ years of multi-family maintenance experience (required) or 3+ years of commercial maintenance experience (required).
• EPA Sec 608 Certification - Type I + Type II or Universal (required).
• Must read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Inspect grounds and buildings daily to identify hazards and maintain safety.
• Oversee property maintenance, make-ready, and renovations to meet standards.
• Supervise, train and schedule maintenance staff; monitor progress daily.
• Respond to on-call/after-hour emergencies as needed; ensure compliance with OSHA and Fair Housing.
• Maintain organized maintenance shop and adhere to safety procedures.
