Job summary

Fogelman is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance service requests and repairs across properties, delivering excellent resident service. Qualifications

• Three years of experience in apartment maintenance preferred.
• HVAC experience with certification (Type 1 & 2 or Universal).
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) preferred.
• Proficient in plumbing, HVAC, electrical and appliance repair.
• Proficient in use of computers and online applications.
• Working knowledge of property systems such as Yardi, Entrata, and HappyCo preferred.
• Depending on the property, a valid driver's license and automobile insurance may be required.

Responsibilities

• Complete all service requests as assigned.
• Complete all make-ready units.
• Care for, maintain and inventory supplies and equipment.
• Supply all personal tools.
• Clean work area, tools and equipment.
• Assist in preventive maintenance projects.
• Escalate unresolved service issues to the Service Director.
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergency calls as needed.
• Maintain positive communications with residents, vendors, and co-workers.
• Adhere to safety policies; weekends may be required.
• Follow all company policies including Fair Housing.
• Other duties as assigned.
