Job summary

Lument is seeking a Transaction Manager to coordinate multifamily loan transactions from application to post-closing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. This role partners with borrowers, counsel, title companies, warehouse lenders, and agency partners to meet investor and company requirements.

The position emphasizes attention to detail, organization, and the ability to manage high volumes under tight deadlines, with a hybrid in-office schedule in NY.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 5 years of commercial real estate lending, transaction management, loan closing, post-closing, underwriting, or related experience.
• Experience with Fannie Mae C&D, DocWay, Hyperion, MIDAS, or similar loan origination, delivery, and document management systems preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with clients, partners, and management.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk management abilities.
• Able to manage multiple transactions and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to influence, negotiate, and build internal/external relationships.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate multifamily loan transactions from application through rate lock, closing, funding, and post-closing delivery.
• Prepare and issue loan commitments and coordinate activities for rate lock and closing.
• Work with borrowers, counsel, title companies, warehouse lenders, custodians, agency partners, and internal teams.
• Review lender statements, escrow analyses, settlement statements, and sources and uses summaries.
• Coordinate funding, including wire approvals and funding authorizations.
• Manage transaction records, schedules, reports, and pipeline tracking.
• Identify risks and drive issue resolution while balancing objectives and risk.
