Job summary

232 Management is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to uphold safety and operational excellence across multifamily properties. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and deliver timely service to residents, contributing to asset performance and satisfaction.

The role includes supervising junior technicians, coordinating with vendors, and managing inventories while following safety policies. A rotating on-call schedule ensures 24/7 maintenance coverage and dependable resident support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• EPA 608 Universal Certification preferred/required.
• Trade certification, license, or degree in HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Appliance Repair or Carpentry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee general maintenance across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, utilities, lighting systems, and property condition.
• Conduct inspections, troubleshoot issues, and complete repairs efficiently and safely.
• Provide direction to junior technicians and coordinate with outside contractors on projects.
• Manage maintenance inventory, tools, and equipment.
• Coordinate maintenance-related vendor and contractor activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental policies.
• Deliver high resident satisfaction through responsive, professional service.
• Participate in rotating on-call schedule for 24/7 maintenance coverage.
