Job summary

LeoForce in California seeks a Mid-Level Construction Assistant to support the Site Superintendent on an active multifamily project. You will coordinate subcontractors, monitor safety, help with scheduling, manage material deliveries, and keep the site organized and compliant.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma, 3+ years GC experience, and familiarity with MS Project and Office. You will join a financially solid developer with hundreds of units in progress and strong health benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (any additional experience a plus).
• 3+ years of commercial construction experience at a General Contractor.
• Prior experience with 200+ unit ground-up multifamily and mixed-use projects (podium, garden walk-up, Type I).
• General knowledge of construction principles/processes.
• Experience building relationships with owners and managing field staff.
• Prior experience with MS Project (or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Support the Site Superintendent in daily operations on an active jobsite.
• Coordinate subcontractor activities and ensure plan/spec compliance.
• Monitor site safety and quality control with regular inspections.
• Assist with project scheduling and tracking progress against timelines.
• Manage material deliveries and site logistics.
• Maintain a clean, organized, OSHA-compliant jobsite.
• Assist with inspections and documentation for authorities and PMs.
• Identify and help resolve field-level construction issues.
• Foster communication between field personnel, PMs and inspectors.
