The role audits files, maintains regulatory knowledge, and guides on documentation procedures to support internal teams and external reviews. This position emphasizes meticulous accuracy and proactive compliance management.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in multifamily property management.
• Working knowledge of Fair Housing law and landlord-tenant regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and demonstrated ability to audit files under deadline pressure.
• Proficiency with property management software (AppFolio, Yardi, RealPage) and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Maintain expert knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local housing regulations and compliance programs (including LIHTC if applicable).
• Review incoming resident applications, income verifications, asset documentation, and tenant selection criteria for eligibility prior to move-in.
