Job summary

Fogelman is seeking an experienced Assistant Property Manager for The Aster Sugar Land in the Sugar Land area of Houston. The role handles rent posting, collections, and lease activity, while supporting the Property Manager with daily operations and compliance.

Strong organizational skills and customer service are essential. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in multifamily property management, is proficient in Yardi, and comfortable with reporting, occupancy metrics, and renewals.

Qualifications

• At least three years of experience as an assistant property manager in multifamily.
• Strong accounting and collections skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Yardi; experience with CRM platforms and Yieldstar preferred.

Responsibilities

• Post and collect rent, process deposits and fees, and ensure timely postings.
• Handle lease renewals and leasing duties as needed.
• Prepare month-end reports and occupancy / financial reporting.
• Assist the Property Manager with daily operations and compliance with policies and laws.
• Contribute to resident services and maintain high customer service standards.
