Job summary

GPI Investment is seeking a Property Assistant Manager to support multiple apartment communities in the Southwest Houston area. As a floater, you will help onsite teams with leasing, resident relations, rent collection, renewals, and general property operations to ensure a smooth resident experience.

This role offers exposure to diverse communities and teams, with growth opportunities across properties as you adapt to different environments and schedules.

Qualifications

• Experience in property management, leasing, or related customer service field preferred.
• Strong communication and customer-first interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel between multiple properties within Southwest Houston.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day operations across assigned properties.
• Support leasing efforts by greeting prospects, conducting tours, and processing applications.
• Handle resident relations, including renewals, service requests, and general inquiries.
• Collect rent, process payments, and assist with delinquencies as needed.
• Maintain accurate records in Yardi (or similar property management software).
• Partner with property managers to support operational and financial goals.
• Uphold company policies and standards at every community you support.

You’ll play a key part in ensuring a smooth resident experience while helping each community meet performance goals.

• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between multiple properties within Southwest Houston
