Job summary

GAF is seeking a Multicraft Technician II to perform advanced maintenance across mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems in a high‑volume plant. You will troubleshoot, repair, and optimize equipment uptime while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include PMs, reading schematics, welding, and millwright work, with a rotating night shift schedule and opportunities for professional growth within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree preferred.
• 3+ years industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience with 480V systems and ControlLogix is a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced maintenance support and PMs of equipment for the Plant site.
• Troubleshoot machine drives and conveying systems from blueprints and schematics.
• Complete assigned work orders in a timely manner and document in Maximo.
• Perform welds, millwright tasks, and pipework as required.
• Support safety, 5S initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
