Job summary

Butterball, LLC in Raeford, NC is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Tech/Machine Operator for 1st shift to provide mechanical support and respond to equipment malfunctions, relocations, or modifications so production stays on schedule.

You will troubleshoot, repair, perform preventive maintenance, and train teammates while following safety and food safety regulations in a high‑noise, food processing environment.

Qualifications

• General industrial mechanical maintenance and/or electrical system experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Certificate/Diploma in Industrial Maintenance or similar area strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist maintenance team and support all aspects of the maintenance department.
• Operates production equipment as assigned.
• Adheres to schedules and production requirements to produce product on assigned machine.
• Troubleshoots and repairs various pieces of equipment.
• Performs preventive maintenance tasks ranging from lubricating wear points to changing out blades.
• Tears down and reassembles equipment in support of our food safety initiatives.
• Supports and provides training to other IMTMO and Production Associates in preventive maintenance tasks.
• Works as part of a team or independently while following safety policies.
