Job summary

Oriental Bank is hiring an Associate, Retail Channel (Teller At-Large) to deliver efficient customer service across multiple Puerto Rico branches. You will handle a variety of transactions, promote products, and rotate among locations as needed.

Candidates should have an associate degree and 1 year of retail or cash handling experience; bilingual English/Spanish is preferred, with strong math and multitasking skills.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Business Administration or related field required.
• 1 year of retail, customer service or cash register experience required.
• Bilingual English and Spanish preferred (written and verbal).
• Proficiency in MS Office; basic math and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality customer service and comply with procedures.
• Handle deposits, withdrawals, checks, payments, transfers and cash handling.
• Keep workstation ready and maintain cash controls.
• Balance cash at shift end and report discrepancies.
• Promote bank products and cross-sell where appropriate.
• Receive customer inquiries and route to the right area.
• Escalate suspicious activity to management as needed.
• Adhere to regulatory policies and internal controls.
