Job summary

The Pep Boys Manny Moe & Jack LLC is seeking a Territory Manager to oversee up to ~15 service center locations around Birmingham, AL. You will coach Store Managers to drive profitability, growth, and exceptional customer experiences through hands-on leadership and regular store visits.

You will lead operational excellence, monitor P&L, and ensure standards are consistently met while supporting teams to reach key KPIs across the territory.

Qualifications

• Multi-unit management experience or success transforming multiple locations.
• Strong coaching and communication skills as a people leader.
• Ability to resolve operational challenges quickly and effectively.
• Experience with P&L, staffing, and performance management.
• High learning agility and resourcefulness in a fast-paced, hands-on role.
• Willingness to travel regularly within the territory.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support Store Managers as the primary operations partner.
• Drive sales growth and profitability, monitor P&L, labor, and EBITDA; take corrective action.
• Visit stores weekly to assess performance, coach managers, and resolve issues.
• Drive people initiatives: hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, performance management with HR partnership.
• Ensure a consistent, high-quality customer experience across all stores.
• Champion operational excellence and policy compliance across the territory.
• Collaborate with Market Leader and corporate teams to provide tools and insights.
• Develop Store Managers into strong business leaders focused on KPIs and profitability.
