HBCU Newsis a culturally driven retail concept focused on education, heritage, and community, offering books, apparel, and merchandise that highlight the legacy and impact of Historically Black Colleges and Universities.

Responsibilities:

• Lead daily operations of the 1920 Merch and HBCU retail store.
• Recruit, train, and schedule retail associates.
• Monitor sales goals and create strategies to increase performance.
• Ensure exceptional customer experience aligned with brand mission.
• Oversee inventory and restocking.
• Ensure cash handling and POS procedures are followed.
• Communicate with headquarters on marketing and promotions.
• Helping with social media post.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of retail management experience (multi-unit experience preferred).
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple teams and priorities.
