Job summary

Confidential Careers is seeking an experienced, multi-unit retail manager for a Houston area role. The position leads store operations, directs a sales team, and ensures premier customer service while aligning with company standards.

You will oversee inventory, compliance with US Customs and OSHA, and implement policies to grow sales and reduce costs. Candidates should have 5–8 years in multi-unit retail management, a BA in business or related field, and strong leadership and communication

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-8 years of multi-unit retail management.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field.
• Superior written and verbal communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to deal with stressful situations in a diplomatic and professional manner.
• Demonstrate understanding of cash and inventory control, visual merchandising, and shrink management.
• Ability to hire, train, and empower employees effectively.

Responsibilities

• Promote and monitor quality customer service through on-the-job training and by acting as a positive role model.
• Recruit, develop, and motivate the sales team.
• Provide oversight, guidance, direction, and involvement in the daily operations of the store and stockroom.
• Ensure effective transaction procedures are followed, including managing daily transaction reconciliation and reporting.
• Oversee merchandise receiving and store inventory replenishment.
• Ensure compliance with US Customs and local Airport regulations, as well as OSHA-established safety regulations.
• Maintain a good rapport with US Customs, Airport Management, Business Partners, Product Vendors, and other business-related entities.
• Secure company assets by consistently monitoring inventory variances and controlling operating costs.
• Develop, implement, and enforce policies, procedures, and processes designed to increase sales, decrease costs, and maintain customer service standards.
• Oversee visual merchandising, inventory control, loss prevention, shipping & receiving, and human resources.
• Provide on-going performance counseling to employees and use appropriate progressive disciplinary procedures when necessary.
