Job summary

Charter Foods, Inc. is seeking an experienced Facility Maintenance Technician to perform year-round preventative maintenance and repair of kitchen equipment and HVAC/R in our restaurant locations.

The role supports multiple brands under Charter Foods, including KFC, Long John Silver's and Taco Bell. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with restaurant equipment, refrigeration, and basic maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

• HVAC/R, Kitchen Equipment, Ice Machines, and Basic Maintenance Skills required.
• Knowledge of Commercial/Light Commercial Refrigeration preferred.
• Basic computer skills for maintenance reporting and checklists.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repair of kitchen equipment and HVAC/R in restaurants.
• Troubleshoot issues and coordinate repairs to minimize downtime.
• Maintain tool inventory and complete maintenance records.

Requirements

• Experience: Entry Level 3 years
• Minimum Education: Technical School Graduate or Degree
• HVAC/R, Kitchen Equipment, Ice Machines, and Basic Maintenance Skills, Basic computer skills
• Skills-Applications: Commercial; Light Commercial; Refrigeration (Walk in Coolers, Freezers); Restaurant Kitchen Equipment
• Skills-Physical: Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and able to climb ladders.
