Job summary

Sonic | Texas is seeking an Area Supervisor to oversee the operation of multiple restaurants and to supervise restaurant management across locations. The role requires strong leadership, financial acumen, and the ability to drive consistency and profitability.

You will conduct regular store reviews, coach managers, perform audits, and lead efforts in daily operations and marketing support. A college degree or equivalent management experience is required, with a 55-hour work week typical.

Qualifications

• Must have strong leadership, communication and team-building skills.
• Excellent math skills or ability to interpret financial data.
• Ability to analyze profit and loss statements and create action plans.

Responsibilities

• Oversee total operation of multiple restaurants.
• Supervise restaurant management and conduct store visits to ensure consistency.
• Lead, advise, and counsel Restaurant Managers on decisions and problem-solving.
• Conduct store reviews, certification reviews, and unannounced visits to assess service quality, cleanliness, and operations.
• Perform performance reviews and security/safety audits; manage cash handling.
• Monitor daily/weekly/period-end sales and costs; review P&L statements with managers and set improvement targets.
• Support local store marketing initiatives.
