Zalat Pizza in Houston, TX is seeking a Head Coach (Multi-Unit Leader) to drive excellence through people, product, and process. This full-time, salaried role blends leadership with hands-on coaching across two stores, ensuring high-quality pizza and unforgettable guest experiences.

The Head Coach will lead by example, develop teams, and build bench strength while partnering with GMs on labor, cost control, and growth. Evening and weekend availability is required for this high-energy role.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of multi-unit or high-volume management experience.
• Proven record of developing teams and promoting from within.
• Strong operational knowledge—pizza experience a plus, but a passion for great food is essential.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Reliable transportation between assigned stores.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and inspire a team across two stores.
• Develop individualized development plans and drive accountability.
• Model ownership and Zalat values in leadership.
• Maintain a strong presence in both stores, fostering culture and connection.
• Identify leadership potential and build future bench strength through succession planning.
• Ensure stores deliver consistent product quality and standards.
• Support daily operations, including shifts and pizza preparation.
• Partner with GMs to manage labor, food cost, and financial health.
• Conduct store walks and audits with a coaching mindset.
• Represent Zalat in the community and support local marketing initiatives.
