Job summary

Potbelly Corporate in Washington, DC is seeking a District Manager to lead up to 8 shops, driving operations, coaching General Managers and delivering strong sales and profits.

You will develop the People Plan, oversee staffing, scheduling, turnover, and compliance with labor laws, while executing the Potbelly Playbook and operating procedures. This role requires relocation flexibility and a proven track record in multi-unit restaurant leadership.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of proven leadership experience, managing multiple units.
• BA/BS preferred.
• Must be able to relocate to market.
• Food Safety Certification required (ServSafe preferred).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach up to 8 shop locations to maximize sales and profits.
• Plan and set annual goals for each shop; monitor progress to achieve them.
• Develop and coach General Managers on staffing, scheduling, turnover and performance.
• Ensure compliance with HR policies, labor laws, and safety procedures.
• Execute the Potbelly Playbook and operating procedures across shops.
