Job summary

Potbelly Sandwich Works seeks a District Manager to oversee up to eight shops, directing operations and leading a team to achieve sales, guest satisfaction, and profit goals. You will coach General Managers, implement Potbelly Playbooks, and ensure staffing, scheduling, and performance reviews across markets.

You will travel 80-90% in the field, work 50+ hours weekly, and partner with Support Center to optimize labor costs, food costs, and safety compliance while upholding Potbelly standards.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of proven leadership experience, managing multiple units in retail or restaurant settings.
• BA/BS preferred.
• Proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee up to 8 shop locations on average and drive sales, profits, and customer metrics.
• Coach and develop General Managers on staffing, scheduling, turnover, and performance management.
• Lead annual business planning, local promotions, and Playbook execution across markets.
• Manage labor and food costs, audits, and compliance with safety and company policies.
