Job summary

Hunt Companies, Inc. seeks Maintenance Technicians at multiple levels to support the upkeep and readiness of housing communities in Havelock, NC. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and repairing HVAC, plumbing, electrical and carpentry, with outdoor work in all weather.

Qualifications span 1–7+ years across trades; EPA 608 and OSHA-10 certifications are required or to be obtained after hire. A competitive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• EPA 608 Certification within 180 days of hire for Level 2/3.
• OSHA-10 Training within 1 year from hire for Level 3.
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions and lift up to 50+ pounds.

Responsibilities

• Responds to service requests for furnaces, air-conditioning, appliances, water heaters, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and other maintenance items.
• Performs skilled work in one or more trades (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, locksmith) with basic troubleshooting.
• Documents work in accordance with company policy and maintains equipment in ready repair.
• Follows safety practices and uses PPE; participates in preventive maintenance programs.
• Mentors Level 1/2 technicians and assists with troubleshooting as needed.
