Job summary

Paramount Contracting Inc. is hiring a Construction Laborer to perform multi-trade field operations on storage facility projects in Phoenix and surrounding areas.

The role covers structural framing, drywall, finish carpentry, and integration of low-voltage security systems, with field autonomy to drive site updates. You'll read blueprints, install and troubleshoot cameras and access control, manage safe material handling, coordinate with project managers, and help ensure compliance with building

Qualifications

• 3+ years of verified hands-on experience in commercial construction workflows.
• Broad trade proficiency across structural framing, finish carpentry, drywall, and commercial hardware.
• Ability to read, evaluate, and extract exact measurements from engineering plans and diagrams.
• Active and valid driver's license with reliable transportation to daily jobsites.
• Capable of working independently or leading field crews with discipline.

Responsibilities

• Execute physical building assemblies including structural framing, drywall, painting, and finish carpentry.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot security camera networks and access control technologies.
• Interpret architectural blueprints and low-voltage schematics with accuracy.
• Conduct on-site troubleshooting and diagnostics for complex system issues.
• Oversee job site preparation, spatial layout, and heavy material handling.
• Ensure repairs and hardware integrations comply with building and safety codes.
• Coordinate daily with project managers and external trades to maintain workflow.
