Paramount Contracting Inc is seeking a highly skilled Access Control/Surveillance Technician to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. You will install, troubleshoot, and maintain security camera systems and access control technology for commercial storage facilities.

The role requires hands-on experience with major security brands, low-voltage wiring, and networking. Travel to job sites and adherence to safety standards are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience with security camera systems and access control technologies.
• Strong knowledge of low-voltage wiring, networking, and electrical components.
• Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair security system issues efficiently.
• Experience reading blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain security cameras, access control systems, and related hardware/software.
• Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostics to resolve system malfunctions or connectivity issues.
• Ensure proper wiring, networking, and integration of security systems into existing infrastructure.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to optimize system performance.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics to complete installations accurately.
• Train customers and team members on proper use and maintenance of security systems.
• Maintain detailed service records, reports, and documentation for all projects.
