Job summary

Vistar in Riverside, MO is seeking a full-time warehouse order picker to select cases and containers from multi-level racks, loading pallets with an electric pallet jack/forklift and preparing orders for shipment with safety and quality in mind.

The role operates Monday–Friday, 2 PM until finish, with overtime during peak seasons. Pay ranges from $21.50 to $34.30 per hour plus a quality bonus and a pallet/temperature differential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• 6-12 months of warehouse/distribution experience.
• Must be able to work scheduled times and overtime.
• Able to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly.
• Able to lift 10–80 lbs and occasionally up to 80 lbs.
• Able to work in cooler, freezer and dry environments.
• Pre-employment drug test is required.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies and company guidelines.
• Conduct safety checks on pallet jack/forklift and wear PPE.
• Meet productivity and accuracy standards.
• Locate products on racks according to order sheets.
• Place stock on pallets from pick slots and racks.
• Transport orders to shipping dock staging area.
• Swap batteries and complete vehicle inspection checklist.
• Close out paperwork and secure equipment at shift end.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
