Job summary

Pendleton Woolen Mills, Inc. in Portland, OR is seeking a Retail Operations Manager to lead the operational and financial performance of all Pendleton stores.

You will develop and enforce policies, drive sales, margins and inventory objectives, and oversee loss prevention and store banking. This role requires leadership across teams, implementation of process improvements, and coordination of store projects from openings to remodels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Retail Management, Business Management, or related field.
• 5 years’ multi-store management experience.
• 3 years’ experience in retail store operations or project management.
• Strong analytical and mathematical aptitude for planning and inventory.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Improve store performance and financial results across all locations.
• Lead operational efficiency and implement best practices in stores.
• Oversee store projects (opening, closing, relocations, remodels) and related services.
• Ensure compliance with policies and safety procedures.
• Manage loss prevention, inventory accuracy, and scheduling.
