Job summary

Meijer seeks a Market Asset Protection Manager to lead the Asset Protection Team across East Detroit Market locations. The role focuses on safety culture, asset protection, and shrink prevention through root-cause analysis and program deployment.

You will audit, investigate ORC activity, liaise with law enforcement, and work with store leadership to uphold security standards. Ideal candidates have multi-unit asset protection experience, OSHA knowledge, and strong investigative skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of multi-unit asset protection experience.
• Working knowledge of OSHA Regulations.
• Understanding of behavioral safety strategies.
• Experience with CCTV, Burglar Systems, Fire Systems, EAS Systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Shrink, P/L Statements and Risk Assessments.
• Wicklander Zulawski Interview Certified.

Responsibilities

• Hires, trains and supervises Asset Protection Team Leaders.
• Investigates internal theft and analyzes activity with leadership.
• Performs safety audits and enforces protection standards.
• Reviews incident and loss reports with store leadership.
• Drives safety programs in partnership with leadership.
• Ensures physical security and alarm systems are operational.
• Collaborates with law enforcement on ORC cases.
