Job summary

Meijer is hiring a Market Asset Protection Manager to lead the Asset Protection Team across East Detroit Market locations, including multiple Michigan stores. You will drive safety and loss prevention initiatives with store leadership to protect people and assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• 3+ years of multi-unit asset protection experience.
• Working knowledge of OSHA Regulations.
• Understanding of behavioral safety strategies.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Loss prevention and investigation certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Hires, trains and supervises Asset Protection Team Leaders.
• Understands and knows actions underway to investigate current internal theft cases.
• Conducts safety auditing to identify unsafe conditions and behavior.
• Meets with store leadership to review activity and reinforce standards.
• Drives safety programs in partnership with store leadership.
• Reviews OSHA logs and investigations related to accidents.
• Ensures investigation of shrink, loss and safety reduction efforts.
• Identifies and resolves cash losses; ensures LP tech is operational.
• Works with store detectives and corporate team to address ORC activity.
• Liaises with law enforcement and oversees store security.
