Job summary

Four Winds Casinos in New Buffalo, MI seeks a dedicated Line Cook to manage multiple culinary stations during a scheduled shift, ensuring efficiency and strict adherence to recipes and standards.

You will maintain refrigeration and dry storage, keep stations clean, follow health regulations, and assist guests as needed. Must have ServSafe certification (or ability to obtain) and a Level 4 Gaming License; casino environment experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred; 1–2 years of kitchen experience.
• ServSafe certification or ability to obtain certification.
• Level 4 Gaming License required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, seasons, finishes, and garnishes all food in kitchen preparation in accordance with established recipes.
• Maintains all refrigeration and dry storage areas to ensure proper handling and rotation of products.
• Ensures that stations are clean and that all food items are properly covered and stored at the end of shift.
• Follows all recipes, specs, and control procedures.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary area at all times in full accordance with health regulations.
• Assists with guest requests.
• Runs a station or multiple stations.
