Job summary

Four Winds Casino New Buffalo is seeking a capable line cook to manage multiple culinary stations and ensure efficient kitchen operations during a scheduled shift. You will prepare, season, finish, and garnish dishes per recipes while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1–2 years in a similar role, and ServSafe certification or the ability to obtain it. A Level 4 Gaming License is also required.

Qualifications

• Education and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or GED preferred and 1–2 years in a similar role.
• ServSafe certification is required or the ability to obtain certification.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to follow recipes and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, seasons, finishes, and garnishes all food following established recipes.
• Maintains refrigeration and dry storage areas and proper product rotation.
• Keeps stations clean and foods properly covered and stored at shift end.
• Follows all recipes, specs, and control procedures.
• Maintains a sanitary work area in compliance with health regulations.
• Assists with guest requests and can run one or multiple stations.
