Job summary

Cura Talent Ltd. is seeking a Compounding Pharmacist (Sterile and Non‑Sterile) in Basalt, Colorado. This hands‑on role supports a growing 503A operation with opportunities to shape processes, mentor staff and lead new locations from the ground up.

The successful candidate will have a PharmD or BS in Pharmacy, an active Colorado license, and solid experience in sterile/non‑sterile compounding, calculations and formulation. Growth, CE support and leadership await.

Responsibilities

• Providing pharmacist oversight across sterile and non sterile compounding activities
• Reviewing prescriptions, calculations, formulations, ingredients, beyond-use dates, labeling and finished preparations
• Leading day to day non sterile production and supporting sterile production activities
• Supervising, training and developing Compounding Pharmacy Technicians
• Setting production priorities and providing real time guidance on technique and workflow
• Preparing and overseeing a variety of compounded dosage forms including capsules, creams, ointments, gels, troches, suspensions, solutions and suppositories
• Ensuring hazardous and non hazardous compounding is carried out using the appropriate controls, equipment and PPE
• Reviewing master formulation records, compounding records, calculations, ingredient information and quality documentation
• Supporting formulation development, scale up and process improvement
• Helping standardize processes as the pharmacy continues to grow
• Investigating deviations, errors and quality events and supporting corrective actions
• Monitoring inventory, ingredient status, expiration dates and storage conditions
• Maintaining compliance with Colorado Board of Pharmacy requirements, DEA requirements where applicable and USP <795>, <797> and <800>
• Participating in competency assessments, media fills, gloved fingertip testing and environmental monitoring activities where required
• Supporting inspection preparation and maintaining an inspection ready operation
• Working with internal teams, vendors and other stakeholders to resolve clinical, technical and operational issues
• Providing pharmacist coverage for designated operational responsibilities

Basalt, Colorado | $175,000 to $200,000 + Merit Bonus | Monday to Friday

This is an opportunity to join a 503A compounding pharmacy at the beginning of an exciting period of growth.

The company is establishing its first major operation in Colorado, with plans to open additional pharmacy locations in the near future. As the business expands, it is building a strong team of pharmacy professionals who can play an important role in establishing and developing each new operation.

The ambition is significant, with plans to grow into a major multi-location 503A compounding pharmacy group over the coming years.

For pharmacists joining at this stage, that growth creates opportunities to take on greater responsibility as the business develops. As new locations open, experienced pharmacists and future leaders will be needed to help build teams, establish operations and support the continued development of the pharmacy group.

The Role

This is a hands‑on sterile and non‑sterile compounding position, working closely with the Pharmacist in Charge and the wider pharmacy team.

You’ll have the opportunity to contribute to the operation from the ground up, including helping to:

• Establish and improve pharmacy processes and workflows
• Support and develop the pharmacy technician team

The Role

This is a production focused pharmacist position supporting the Pharmacist in Charge across the sterile and non sterile compounding operation.
