The successful candidate will manage end-to-end payroll processes, maintain records, and ensure timely tax reporting and garnishment processing in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment. The role requires strong experience with payroll systems, W-2 preparation, and benefits-related deductions, with emphasis on accuracy and compliance across multiple jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of payroll experience
• HRIS experience is a plus
• Previous union payroll experience is a plus
• Construction industry experience is a plus
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access) is required

Responsibilities

• Process payrolls and maintain related records
• File tax reports and voluntary deductions
• Process involuntary deductions such as levies and garnishments
• Prepare accounting transactions and payroll reports (W-2s, year-end reports)
• Maintain and update payroll procedures and respond to employee payroll questions
