Job summary

Esri in Redlands, CA is seeking an experienced payroll professional to join our domestic payroll team. You will manage bi-weekly multi-state payroll for the U.S. workforce and support from hiring to separation in a fast-paced environment onsite on our campus.

The role requires 2+ years of high-volume payroll experience, proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Access, and strong attention to detail. Visa sponsorship is not available and a background check may be required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of high‑volume payroll experience, preferably with a top tier HCM payroll system.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks under strict deadlines.
• Self-starter with sound business judgment.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Process bi‑weekly multi‑state payroll following policies and procedures; suggest process improvements.
• Enter garnishments, timesheet adjustments, and one‑time payroll changes.
• Resolve payroll discrepancies and perform audits for accuracy.
• Process new hires and separations.
• Provide payroll information by answering questions and requests.
• Maintain confidential payroll information.
• Manage workflow to ensure timely processing of payroll transactions.
