Qualifications

• 3+ years of payroll experience, including multi-state payroll.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.
• Experience with electronic payroll, HRIS, and timekeeping systems.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and data analysis skills.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to maintain accuracy while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Process biweekly payroll, including wages, taxes, deductions, garnishments, and benefits.
• Maintain payroll records related to new hires, terminations, employee changes, and other transactions.
• Audit and reconcile payroll and timekeeping information.
• Process payroll adjustments, leave-related pay, benefit changes, and rate updates.
• Research and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee questions.
• Prepare payroll reports and support year-end tax reporting, audits, and filings.
• Assist with payroll system testing, upgrades, and process improvements.
• Support payroll system administration and data accuracy.
• Provide guidance to managers and employees regarding payroll and timekeeping procedures.
• Partner with internal departments to improve payroll processes and reporting.
