Job summary

Sprenger Health Care is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our Lorain, OH team. You will manage payroll processes, ensure accuracy, and maintain confidentiality across multi-state operations.

This role handles garnishments, bonus payments, retroactive pay adjustments, and collaborates with HR to support employees. A high school diploma is required; an associate degree is preferred, with strong computer and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of payroll experience; multi-state payroll experience strongly preferred.
• High school diploma is required; Associate degree preferred.
• Proficient computer skills, working knowledge of general office machines, excellent customer service skills, must demonstrate independent initiative, well organized, flexibility with schedule, team player, honest, dependable, trust-worthy, and excellent communication skills.
