CFS is seeking a Payroll and Benefits Specialist to oversee payroll and benefits operations for a multi-state workforce. You will ensure payroll accuracy, compliance, and system reliability while supporting employees and collaborating with HR, Accounting, and leadership.

The role requires deep knowledge of multi-state payroll, benefits administration, and payroll taxes, with hands-on experience in ADP Workforce Now and advanced Excel reporting skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of payroll and benefits experience
• Strong multi-state payroll knowledge
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now strongly preferred
• Strong Excel and reporting skills
• Knowledge of payroll taxes, benefits administration, and compliance requirements

Responsibilities

• Process and oversee multi-state payroll and taxes.
• Administer employee benefits and respond to payroll/benefits inquiries.
• Audit payroll and benefits data for accuracy.
• Research federal, state, and local payroll requirements for compliance.
• Manage payroll tax notices, registrations, T&A, 401(k) contributions, and year-end W-2s.
• Maintain employee data across ADP Workforce Now and UKG.

Key Responsibilities (Payroll And Benefits Specialist)

• Process and oversee multi-state payroll, including deductions, garnishments, bonuses, commissions, retroactive pay, executive compensation, and payroll taxes
• Administer employee benefits and serve as a resource for benefits and payroll-related questions
• Review payroll and benefits data for accuracy through regular audits and reconciliations
• Research federal, state, and local payroll requirements and help ensure ongoing compliance
• Manage payroll tax notices, state registrations, timekeeping, 401(k) contributions, and year-end W-2 processing
• Maintain accurate employee information across ADP Workforce Now, UKG, and benefit carrier systems
