Nelson Miller Group is seeking a Payroll Specialist to lead full-cycle payroll for US sites across multiple states. You will maintain records, file tax reports, handle garnishments, and produce reports for management.

Some travel (~10%) for training or as needed. The role requires 3–5 years in payroll (manufacturing preferred), strong knowledge of federal/state/local laws, proficiency with HRIS/ERP systems, and excellent analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
• Experience with time and attendance processing and payroll/tax reporting.
• Proficiency with payroll software and HRIS systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Full-cycle payroll processing for multi-state, multi-site operations.
• Validate timecards and attendance data before submission.
• Process manual checks, adjustments, and off-cycle payments.
• Reconcile payroll and validate reports prior to transmission.
• Maintain payroll records, audits, and data integrity.
• Prepare payroll-related reports for management.
