Job summary

Vaco LLC is seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage accurate and timely payroll processing while ensuring full regulatory compliance. The role serves as the primary contact for payroll inquiries and requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ideal candidates will have 3+ years of payroll experience, proficiency with ADP/Paycom/UKG/Workday/Ceridian, and solid Excel skills. Certification such as CPP is a plus, and growth within a collaborative team is offered.

Qualifications

• At least three years of payroll processing experience.
• Experience with multi-state payroll preferred.
• Proficient with payroll software (ADP/Paycom/UKG/Workday/Ceridian).
• CPP certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly, biweekly, semi-monthly, and monthly payrolls.
• Review and audit timecards, earnings, deductions, and taxes.
• Maintain comprehensive payroll records and data integrity.
• Process new hires, terminations, and status changes.
• Administer garnishments and other deductions.
• Reconcile payroll reports and prepare journal entries.
• Assist with payroll tax filings and W-2 processing.
• Respond to employee inquiries and support audits with HR/Finance.
