Job summary

TEEMA Group in Sioux Falls, SD, is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support 60+ locations with full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, benefits education, and leave management.

You will partner with management to address employee relations, engagement, and compliance while promoting a positive work culture across the organization.

Required: Bachelor’s degree in HR and 3+ years of HR experience, with strong communication skills and the ability to travel to sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional HR experience, with recruiting background.
• Proven knowledge of federal and multi-state employment laws and regulations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with confidentiality and fairness.
• Strong ability to multi-task, prioritize deadlines, and exercise professional judgment.
• Ability to operate in a standard office setting and visit multiple locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle recruitment and onboarding for retail and pharmacy roles across three states.
• Serve as a resource for conflict resolution, performance management, and employee engagement.
• Guide employees on medical, dental, 401(k), and disability benefits and open enrollment.
• Proactively manage FMLA, military, and medical leaves; support workers’ comp processes.
• Ensure HR activities comply with federal and multi-state regulations and maintain records.
• Represent the organization at career fairs and events to promote workforce development.
