Swickard Shared Services in Las Vegas oversees DMV and title operations for Swickard's store network. The DMV Manager leads the team, ensures timely processing of registrations, titles, liens, and out-of-state transfers, and partners with DMV agencies to maintain compliance.

You will develop standardized procedures, monitor aging transactions, and coordinate with Accounting, Sales, Finance, and leadership to resolve discrepancies and protect cash flow across a multi-state footprint.

Competenze

• 4+ years in automotive dealership DMV, title, or related admin work.
• Prior supervisory or management experience.
• Strong knowledge of DMV requirements across jurisdictions.
• Ability to manage high-volume transactions accurately.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Mansioni

• Oversee daily DMV and title operations across assigned dealerships -- ensuring timely and accurate processing of vehicle registrations, titles, transfers, liens, and related documentation
• Manage and develop the DMV team -- establishing clear processes, performance expectations, and quality standards
• Review DMV transactions and supporting documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable state and local requirements
• Oversee DMV adjustments, corrections, and reconciliations -- identifying discrepancies and coordinating appropriate corrections to deal and accounting records
• Research and resolve title, registration, tax, fee, lien, and documentation issues in partnership with dealership personnel, customers, lenders, DMV agencies, and other external parties
• Monitor pending and aging DMV transactions and establish appropriate follow-up to prevent delays, penalties, or unresolved transactions
• Ensure proper handling and documentation of title work -- including electronic and paper titles, lien releases, duplicate titles, title corrections, and out-of-state transactions
• Partner with Accounting, Sales, Finance & Insurance, Inventory, and dealership leadership to resolve transaction discrepancies and ensure accurate deal processing
• Maintain appropriate controls over DMV documents, funds, fees, and records
• Develop and maintain standardized DMV procedures and ensure consistent application across dealerships
• Monitor regulatory and procedural changes affecting dealership DMV operations and communicate relevant requirements to leadership and the DMV team
• Prepare and maintain reports related to DMV activity, outstanding transactions, adjustments, and compliance
• Escalate significant discrepancies, compliance concerns, or unresolved transactions to appropriate leadership
