Job summary

Swickard Auto Group in Edmonds, WA is seeking a DMV Clerk to handle title and registration processing across our Washington State stores from a central Edmonds location. You'll work with deal paperwork, ensure accuracy, and submit documents to the WA DOL on time.

Qualifications

• Prior dealership DMV, title, or registration experience preferred; Washington State DOL familiarity is a meaningful advantage.
• Strong attention to detail; accuracy on every transaction is the baseline expectation.
• Deadline-conscious and organized; you track pending work and follow up without being asked.

Responsibilities

• Process vehicle title and registration applications for Washington State store network accurately and on time.
• Prepare and review deal paperwork for title and registration accuracy; verify odometer disclosures, lien documents, and buyer information.
• Track pending title and registration transactions across locations; follow up on aging or missing documentation to prevent delays.
• Coordinate with finance offices and sales teams on deal documentation requirements to avoid delays in registration processing.
• Process lien releases, duplicate title requests, and title corrections as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of all title and registration transactions in the DMS.
• Communicate proactively with the DMV Manager on transactions at risk of delay or compliance concerns.
