Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of clinic support staff including Dental Assistants and Medical Assistants.
• Oversee staff schedules and daily duties to meet staffing needs.
• Ensure safety, emergency preparedness, hazardous materials, and environment of care standards.
• Support Clinic Manager in developing and training staff per SOP and BACH standards.
• Perform and host audits to meet regulatory standards and address findings.
• Manage incident reports and risk management interventions.
• Maintain accurate time and attendance records.
• Recruit, interview, orient, train, and mentor staff.
• Oversee patient scheduling and template monitoring to maximize provider utilization.
• Monitor patient flow, cycle times, and waiting areas.
• Assist with documentation and resolution of patient complaints.
• Coach staff and address performance issues.
• Exhibit excellent customer service and patient care with diverse stakeholders.
• Serve as primary clinic contact in the absence of Clinic Manager.
• Supervise logs: crash cart checks, inventories, calibration, sterilization, and related safety tests.
• Manage patient appointment reminders, copay collections, and reduce no-show metrics.
• Oversee supplies, vaccines, and equipment maintenance to prevent shortages.
