Located in Sarasota, Sarasota Memorial Health Care System is seeking a CT Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic procedures under the direction of a Radiologist. The role requires independent judgment and the ability to apply prescribed ionizing radiation and radiofrequency beams for diagnostic imaging and intervention.

You will assume responsibility for designated CT procedures as needed. Candidates must hold an Advanced CT Registry, ARRT certification, and active Florida licensure,

Qualifications

• Advanced CT Registry required.
• ARRT registered radiologic technologist.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Active Florida radiologic technologist license.

Responsabilités

• Perform CT imaging under Radiologist supervision.
• Ensure image quality and patient safety.
• Maintain records and adhere to radiology protocols.

Job Summary

Under the direction of a Radiologist, performs radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation or prescribed radiofrequency beams for radiologic diagnosis and / or intervention. Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required.

• Require Advanced Registry in CT.

BLS: Basic Life Support/CPR
FL RT: Florida Radiologic Tech
