Job summary

Commercial Metals LTD in Texas is seeking production technicians to support fabrication, loading and operation of rebar equipment. You’ll receive training and work within a safety-first culture that values teamwork and hands-on problem solving.

From day one, you’ll engage in on-the-job training, operate machines such as shears, benders, cranes and forklifts, and contribute to meeting production targets while maintaining quality and safe work practices.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work outdoors in all weather.
• Willingness to cross-train and work overtime.
• Ability to read technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Attend training regarding applicable equipment
• Operate fabrication machines per established procedures
• Assist in loading fabricated rebar on trailers and unloading stock material from trailers
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition
• Operate rebar fabrication equipment, such as shears, benders, cranes, forklift, threaders, forging, welders, etc.
• Crosstrain on multiple machines
• Participates in the CMC Safety Programs and proactively upholds the CMC Safety Culture
