Job summary

White Cap is seeking a hands-on production associate to manufacture customized rebar products on-site in Texas. You will follow work orders, operate shears, benders, and automatic bending machines, while maintaining quality and safety standards in an industrial setting.

The role requires 0–2 years of experience, strong reading of work orders, PPE use, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks outdoors and indoors with variable weather. A forklift and crane certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred; 0-2 years of related experience.
• Experience in rebar fabrication or manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to read basic work orders and rebar tags.
• Forklift and/or overhead crane certification preferred.
• Use of PPE is required.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate reinforcing steel (rebar) products according to work orders and tag specifications.
• Set up and safely operate rebar fabrication equipment.
• Inspect finished materials for accuracy and conformance to specifications.
• Identify defects and adjust processes as needed.
• Prepare products for shipment with protective materials.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Perform duties in indoor and outdoor environments with potential weather exposure.
• Stack, band, and stage materials according to production flow.
