Commercial Metals Company (CMC) is hiring for a manufacturing associate at our Texas facilities. This role supports loading, operating fabrication equipment, and keeping a safe, efficient work area.

You'll train on equipment, follow safety policies, and collaborate with team members to meet production goals. OT may be required; strong work ethic and reliability are essential to thrive in our fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work outdoors in heat and cold.
• Willing to cross-train as required.
• Follow OSHA, EPA, and company safety policies.
• Strong work ethic and safe working habits.
• Ability to read technical documents and service manuals.
• Minimum 1 year in a heavy industrial environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Ability to work overtime, planned or unplanned.

Responsibilities

• Attend equipment training and operate fabrication machines per procedures.
• Assist in loading fabricated rebar on trailers and unloading stock.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and equipment.
• Operate equipment such as shears, benders, cranes, and forklift per guidelines.
• Participate in CMC safety programs and uphold safety culture.
