Job summary

Rivian is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician to support plant operations in Normal, IL. You will work on state-of-the-art equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot complex systems to keep production running smoothly.

The role requires understanding electrical, mechanical and fluid power systems, with opportunities to lead small teams and participate in CI initiatives. Training and career development are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Understand electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems.
• Can analyze problems and perform repairs.
• Ability to use basic hand tools and specialized tools as appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Perform break‑fix & preventative maintenance per industry standards.
• Identify and source parts & supplies as necessary.
• Set up and operate multiple machining operations (lathe, drill press, grinder).
• Troubleshoot and analyze control systems to resolve software/hardware issues.
• Update CMMS records and history.
