Job summary

Bella’s Voice in Washington is seeking a qualified on-site Supervisor to lead Retail and Production operations across multiple locations, ensuring top-tier service and adherence to standards. You will coach staff, manage daily tasks, and coordinate with leadership to align staffing, training, and priorities.

The role requires a high school diploma, 2+ years in retail or customer service, and 1 year of supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years’ retail or customer service experience required.
• One year of supervisory or team leadership experience required.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift to 40 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervisory and operational coverage across Bella’s Voice locations when assigned.
• Lead, coach, and support employees and volunteers in Retail and Production operations.
• Assist with onboarding, training, and performance feedback; monitor attendance and policy compliance.
• Oversee daily store operations including opening/closing, cash handling, and workflow.
• Support sales floor, merchandising, pricing, and donation processing as needed.
• Deliver excellent customer and donor service aligned with Bella’s Voice’s mission.
• Maintain consistent standards and identify opportunities for improvement across locations.
• Monitor safety, loss prevention, and compliance; escalate concerns as needed.
• Partner with Store Leadership to support staffing and training priorities.
• Demonstrate flexibility in location, schedule, and responsibilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide supervisory and operational coverage across multiple Bella’s Voice locations based on staffing and business needs, serving as the on-site leadership resource when assigned.
• Lead, coach, and support employees and volunteers across Retail and Production operations, promoting accountability, teamwork, productivity, and Bella’s Voice standards.
• Assist with employee onboarding, training, coaching, recognition, and performance feedback; monitor attendance, conduct, productivity, and policy compliance and communicate concerns to management.
• Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, employee assignments, breaks and meal periods, customer service, cash handling, and general workflow.
• Support sales floor, merchandising, stocking, pricing, recovery, donation intake, processing, and production activities based on operational needs.
• Deliver exceptional customer and donor service, resolve concerns appropriately, and ensure interactions reflect Bella’s Voice’s mission and values.
• Maintain consistent operational standards, policies, procedures, and service expectations across locations while helping identify opportunities for improvement.
• Monitor workplace safety, loss prevention, cash controls, and compliance with established procedures; respond to and appropriately escalate safety, security, employee, or operational concerns.
• Partner with Store Leadership to support staffing needs, training initiatives, operational priorities, and effective communication between locations.
• Demonstrate flexibility in work location, schedule, assignments, and responsibilities based on organizational needs.

Availability & Hours

• Saturday and Sunday availability required.
• Holiday availability required.
• Ability to work 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, 8:45 AM to 5:15 PM, and 10:45 AM to 7:15 PM required.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum two years’ retail or customer service experience required.
• One year of supervisory or team leadership experience required.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift to 40 pounds.
• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time.

Preferred Qualifications

• Thrift store or resale retail experience.
• Knowledge of clothing brands, housewares, antiques, or collectibles.
• Passion for animal welfare and community service.
• Pay: $23.00 to $25.00 per hour (DOE)
