Job summary

Mark-Taylor is seeking a Service Technician for Tavalo at Cadence and Tavalo at Queen Creek in Mesa, AZ. You will perform maintenance repairs, make-readies, and routine upkeep to keep communities running smoothly and residents comfortable.

The role requires general knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and safety, with on-call responsibilities. We offer competitive hourly pay, on-call incentives, benefits, and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• General knowledge in plumbing, electrical, pool maintenance, HVAC, carpentry, landscape maintenance, appliances.
• Experience as apartment turn technician/make-ready technician desirable.
• Excellent customer service and timely communication with residents and team.
• Ability to prioritize work orders and on-call responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in completing make-ready units to Mark-Taylor standards and maintain adequate supply.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and correct minor HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry issues.
• Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on vacant units as they become available.
• Perform daily pool care and ensure chemical balance and safety.
• Complete minor roof repairs, re-key locks, and cut keys.
• Inspect property for safety hazards and inform management.
• Share on-call duties with Manager of Facilities and Service.
• Assist in monitoring inventory of parts and supplies.
